Those wishing to
stay in Korea for more than 90 days are required to register
at a local immigration office having the jurisdiction over the
place of stay within 90 days from the date of entry.
¡Ø Those who fail to register within 90
days are subject to penalty.
To register, students/faculty should submit an application to
the local or district immigration office in person.
Document requirements are as follows:
- Application forms (Downloadable at http://www.immigration.go.kr/indeximmeng.html)
- A travel document (passport)
- Three color photos (3¡¿4)
- Other documents according to the visa category

If the applicant's is accepted, the Immigration officer in charge
will stamp the applicants passport and issue an Alien Registration
card to you. It usually takes three or four days for the applicant
to get the Alien Registration card. |
