To
offer smooth-running internet service in areas unreachable by
wireless LAN, the Office of Information has reached an agreement
with KT to provide the Wibro exhibition service.
For this reason, anywhere on campus, you can freely use a laptop,
cell-phone (Wibro-use terminals), for portable internet service.
Exhibition service period: 2007 October 1st~ 2008 March 31st

Users of the service: Kyung Hee University faculty and students
2. How to use the service: Visit the Seoul or Global campus
Office of Information and lend terminals (faculty or student
ID card is required)
3. Availability: Free of charge on the Seoul and Global campus
(fees for use off campus will be charged separately)
4. Terminal use period: 2 weeks (no specific start date)
5. Borrowing a receiver set: Wibro USB type (KWD- U1100)
6. A lost receiver set must be compensated with the replacement
of the actual object or cash equivalent
Computer,
using Vista, must install the school homepage¡¯s ViRobot, otherwise
Windows Explorer may pop up instead of the installation. This
happens because the Users Account Control has been set. By removing
this setting, ViRobot can be installed normally. (For Windows
Vista, only a 32bit version is available)
1. Start ¡æControl Panel¡æ Double click ¡°User Account¡±
2. Click ¡°use/do not use User Account Control¡± at the bottom
of the User Account
3. Remove the check at ¡°Protect your computer more safely
by using User Account Control¡± and click ¡°Ok¡±, then reboot.
4. After following the directions to install ViRobot described
above, the Client version should be installed and ¡°ViRobot
client 3.5¡± on the bottom right of the task-bar. Right-click
¡°ViRobot client 3.5¡± and choose ¡°Update Vaccine¡±, then ViRobot
version 5.5 will be installed.
5. After installing ViRobot, set the User Account Control
back to its original position if necessary.
