1. Applicants
should be one of the following categories. ¨ç
Students designated by the Law of the Korea Ministry of
Education ¨è Foreigners whose
parents are all foreigners ¨é
Overseas Korean Nationals or Foreigners who completed
the educational curriculums corresponding
to the present Korean educational system of primary school,
high school and university
2. Anyone who already received (or expects to receive
in a few months) a Bachelor's degree from 4-year
college or university either in Korea or overseas.
3. Anyone whose educational competence is authorized by
the Law of the Korea Ministry of Education to be
equal to a Bachelor's degree. |
| For Ph.D. Degree
Program |
1. Applicants
should be one of the following categories ¨ç

Overseas Korean Nationals or Foreigners who completed
the educational curriculums corresponding
to the present Korean educational system of primary school,

in a few months) a Master's degree from authorized
graduate schools either in Korea or overseas.
3. Anyone whose educational competence is authorized by
the Law of the Korea Ministry of Education to
be equal to a Master's degree. |

Evaluation of application documents
2. (For foreigners staying in Korea) Interview (with practical
examination if necessary) will be governed by
the department for which an applicant applies. |

One "Application for Admission" Form (for Center
for International Exchange) with a photo of passport
photo size
2. One official copy of Diploma (Certificate of Degree)
3. One official transcript (copy of Credit Record)
(from both college and graduate
school for a Ph.D. program applicant)
4. One Letter of Recommendation from a professor in a
previous college (graduate school)
5. One Study Plan (in KHU Form) in Korean (or English)
6. One copy of passport and one copy of Registration I.D.
for Foreigners (in case of
a person who has already stayed in Korea) |

Graduate School) with a photo of passport photo size
8. One Letter of Recommendation (written and signed by
KHU Department Head) |

followings should be prepared by Korean guarantor(Inviting
Professor) or Applicant¡¯s family. |

One Letter of Guarantee for Finance and Reference
10. One official certificate of seal registration of a
guarantor
11. One certificate of tax payment of a guarantor
12. One certificate of balance in personal bank account
(over the amount of US$10,000) of
an applicant or a guarantor (issued from Korean banks)

| Application
documents of number 2, 3 and 4 should be translated in
Korean and attested by a notary office when they are written
in other language except English. All translated documents
should be submitted with originals. |
| Any
fellowship students should submit an official certificate
of fellowship issued from an institute or an office of
fund. Documents required in number 9, 10, 11 and 12 are
exempted. |

(1) Applicants
should submit all required documents to department head
of a department concerned.
(2) Applicants should follow all examination steps ruled
by the department.
(3) Department head should submit a full package of application
forms to a graduate school office.

Programs
(1) KHU President Scholarship: A limited number of foreign
students can be registered by each professor
in KHU graduate school. Full tuition and registration
fee can be exempted.
(2) Korean government scholarship (Ministry of information
and communication): foreigners who graduated
from college related to Information Technology can apply
for scholarship (of two year support
for master candidates and 4 year for Ph.D.). All kinds
of application for financial support should
be prepared and handled by the professor in contact with
applicants |

- If there
are false records found in application documents or qualification
certificates, admission and entrance permission
can be cancelled at any time after the registration.
- All documents submitted for application are not returned
to applicants.
- All procedures after the submission of application documents
are controlled by the graduate school
office in a schedule different from a regular procedure
applied for Korean applicants. |
