Applicants who have received their entire elementary, junior and high school and at least two years of university education at a four-year university (or another bachelor's degree program) are eligible to transfer to the third year of our undergraduate program. However, there is no special admission period for international students. So international students also apply for the transfer admission with Korean applicants.

Foreigners whose parents have foreign nationality (both mother and father), and who have completed or are expected to complete a regular school education from elementary to high school.

- Students whose Korean proficiency is found to be less than adequate to effectively participate in class may be required to take Korean language courses at the Institute of Continuing Education (http://ice.khu.ac.kr) at their own expense.

- Early successful candidates may take a Korean language course at the Institute of Continuing Education at their own expense.

4. Certificate of high school completion or graduation (or expected)
5. Official transcript from college
6. Certificate of family registry or nationality (Birth Certificate / Certificate of Nationality)
    * 호구부(Hogubu) is required for Chinese applicants
    * It must be legal documentation that verifies applicant’s family relationship
7. Guarantee of Finance (prescribed form)
8. Applicant’s or sponsor’s bank certificate indicating that more than $10,000 has been deposited in the     bank account for more than one month
9. Study Plan (prescribed form)
10. Copy of passport
11. Korean Language Proficiency Test score (if available)
12. TOEFL Score Report (Applicants for School of International Studies only. Native English Speakers      are exempted)
13. Taekwondo Certificate above 2 dan (Applicants for Department of Taekwondo only)
14. Copy of Alien Registration Card if applicable (if available)

1. All of the aforementioned documents must be written and submitted in Korean or English. Documents in languages other than Korean or English must be translated and notarized before submission.
2. Any application including false/forged documents will be immediately rejected.
3. The submitted documents will not be returned to the applicant.

An application fee of 100,000 Won or USD 100 must be paid upon submission of the application form. The required fee must be paid via the online application system or to the designated account.

- Students must send payment details indicating sender’s name / name of bank / date of sending or Transfer Remittance to the Center for International Exchanges via fax.

After completing your online application, please send the required documents via registered mail. Other than the online application, you may download and complete the prescribed forms and send them along with the other required documents.
