The 21st Century is an information epoch. Since the computer appeared, Information Technology has been developed steadily and positioned in the middle of the modern times. At the core of information technology is Information Display Technology.
Information(science, politics, sports, entertainments and so on) shows different qualities depending on how it is displayed, and it affects our life greatly. Information Display Technology is not so far from our life but close to real life. Information Display Technology is used everywhere such as TV, computer monitors, PDA(Personal Digital Assistant), cell-phones, cars, signboards and whole societies. Information Display Technology is necessary to deliver abundant information to us quickly, accurately and conveniently.
Korea selected the Display department as one of the dynamic industries to lead the whole country's industry in the future. This field is expected to guide the country to achieve twenty-thousand dollars as GNP. The importance of Information Display Technology has increased, the traditional education system in an university. Specially, the 21st Century is an age of consumers. If consumers are not satisfied products, will be weeded out even if they are very excellent and exquisite. Consequently, we also need to apply the technology to the market effectively, efficiently and practically.

Kyung Hee University has a strong tradition of research and teaching in technology-based subjects. Display Technology & Business Administration is a leading example. Our courses represent the full spectrum of computing Information Display Technology, from the design and development of LCD, PDP, OLED and specialized systems to the use of Displays and other Display panel equipment in different fields. The information display technology major pursues some educational goals; first, training students to become research scientists who will do R&D work in information display technology such as LCD, PDP, OLED and so on; second, training students as technical managers who will manage businesses and pursue professional careers in the real environment related display industry. In order to accomplish two goals, 1) We provide courses for students to obtain the fundamental knowledge about information display technology and help them improve their creative ability in areas of the newly deployed information display technology such as LCD, PDP and OLED. 2) We provide several practical educational programs for students to directly apply their knowledge to real world problems. 3) We also try to create information display specialists who can use their abilities to play a meaningful role in society.

To receive the Bachelor of Science in Information Display Technology Business Administration, a student must
