Research
overview
¡¤ Korean Dance
In the sense of reinterpreting the pattern of traditional
dances handed down through
new dances, this area looks for the right direction for Korean
dance to advance in the
future by comparing and analyzing creative dance works that
have emerged actively
since the 1980s.
¡¤ Modern Dance
This area deals with modern dance, assuming that modern dance
is the most appropriate for
studying the sociological functions of dance because it shares
the largest contact surface
with modern society and has the most extensive power of expression.
¡¤ Ballet
This area conducts research on techniques based on classical
ballets as well as on the creative study of
post-modern ballets.
